You may ask what is meant by this. Well, it can be perceived in many different ways as the beliefs we carry determine what we see. Taking a break and stepping back allows us to see the insecurities we form within ourselves and the dangers that ravages our thoughts and plays on our insecurities. Have you ever experienced guilt that turned into annoyance which tumbled down the rabbit hole of impatience and misunderstanding? Well, I have, and it is the most annoying and depressing state to have one's mind locked in. When this happens, we are tempted to believe that it will never get better, I can't forgive them or myself, I won't be able to get over the situation, my life will never be good again, and no one cares. This is just a part of what the mind goes through on a daily basis. Today, I challenge you to direct your thoughts to a place that is pure, admirable, right, true, peaceful and worthy. This does not mean that you will deny yourself of processing anything that is hard or complicated, it just means that you are taking a break from the frustrations and aggravations that can cause irritation within the self. Find a space to set up camp and park your thoughts. When the mind is set on things of a good nature, there can be a direct access to peace.
